"Every hour we don't spend on execution infrastructure is an hour we spend making DeFade's risk analysis sharper. Definitive let us ship buy/sell trading end-to-end without slowing down the core product. It's a natural fit for a platform where users need to go from 'is this safe' to 'act on it' in one place."
— Dex, Founder, DeFade
DeFade is the risk analysis layer for the memecoin market. The platform scans any Solana or EVM token and produces a structured risk report in seconds, running 28 parallel onchain analytical modules: rug pull probability scoring, bundle detection, sniper analysis, whale alerts, holder concentration mapping, creator wallet history, smart money profiling, liquidity analysis, insider network visualization, and more.
The product surface is broad. DeFade is live on web (defade.org), iOS, Android, a Chrome extension that surfaces risk badges directly on DexScreener and pump.fun token pages, a Telegram bot, and a public API for developers building their own analysis tools. The Chrome extension alone delivers one-click scans without leaving the trading platform a user is already on.
DeFade has publicly caught rugs before they collapsed, including tokens where the creator had a 0% survival rate across 21+ previous deployments. That kind of signal is what keeps users coming back: real protection, delivered fast, when minutes matter.
But risk analysis without the ability to act on it is just information. A user scans a token, confirms it's safe, and then has to leave DeFade, open a DEX, configure a swap, and execute the trade somewhere else. By then, the entry has moved. The second half of DeFade's product thesis is closing that gap: letting users go from "is this safe?" to "buy it" in the same place, without the context switch that costs them their edge.
DeFade's core value is the 28-module risk engine. Every engineering cycle the team spends on analysis depth, safety UX, and KOL detection makes the platform harder to replicate. That's the moat.
Adding trade execution to the platform would complete the product loop. But building it from scratch meant solving a different category of problems entirely: smart routing across Solana and EVM DEXs, wallet support for Phantom, Backpack, MetaMask, and WalletConnect, reliable order routing, fee handling, gas management, MEV protection, and the ongoing maintenance of a multi-chain execution layer. For a team whose competitive advantage is onchain intelligence, that's months of engineering pointed at the wrong thing.
The calculus was straightforward. Building execution infrastructure internally wasn't a good use of time versus focusing on the risk analysis product itself. DeFade needed a partner that had already solved execution, so the team could ship trading without pulling a single engineer off the safety layer.
Definitive is the leading onchain trading platform for pro traders and institutions, built by Coinbase Prime and Tagomi alumni. Flash API exposes that same execution engine through a single REST integration. For DeFade, the product fit was immediate: a reliable execution layer that ships with wallet support, smart routing, and fee handling out-of-the-box, without requiring DeFade to become trading infrastructure experts.
Flash API aggregates liquidity from 900+ DEXs and onchain venues. For DeFade's memecoin-heavy use case, where tokens are often low-liquidity and spread across fragmented pools, the router finds the most competitive route at the moment of execution, simulates every trade twice offchain before submission, and dynamically reroutes when conditions shift. Trades execute through Definitive's battle-tested infrastructure with MEV protection baked in.
DeFade's user base spans Solana and EVM chains, and trades through Phantom, Backpack, MetaMask, and WalletConnect. Flash API supports all of them through a single integration. As Definitive adds new chains and venues (for example most recently Robinhood Chain), DeFade's users inherit them automatically.
Flash API's configurable integrator fee system lets DeFade collect a fee on every trade executed through the platform. Fees are set per-trade in basis points and routed to DeFadein real-time. No separate billing infrastructure required. Every scan that converts into a trade generates revenue for DeFade automatically.
The integration surfaces Flash API directly inside DeFade's product experience. A user scans a token, reviews the risk report across all 28 modules, and if the analysis checks out, executes a buy or sell without leaving the app. The trade routes through Definitive's smart order router with MEV protection, slippage optimization, and transaction simulation. The loop is closed: risk assessment and execution live in the same product.
By building on Flash API, DeFade's team keeps its engineering pointed at what makes them unique: deeper risk modules, better safety UX, KOL and community features, and content and growth. The Flash integration took just 4 hours, even with a small team of 2. That's all it took to ship an execution layer that would have taken months to build and maintain in-house.
DeFade just shipped Solana trading, with EVM chain support in pre-launch testing. The combined multi-chain rollout is expected to convert scan traffic directly into in-app trade volume. Users who currently analyze tokens on DeFade and then leave to execute elsewhere will be able to act on a risk assessment in the same place they got it, across both Solana and EVM.
The revenue model is straightforward: every in-app trade generates fees through Flash API's integrator fee system. Scan volume that previously had zero monetization path now has a direct conversion into real revenue.
DeFade's product surface is already wide: web, iOS, Android, Chrome extension, Telegram bot, and public API. With Flash API as the execution layer, every one of those surfaces can now offer trading alongside risk analysis. A Chrome extension scan on DexScreener can lead to an in-app trade. A Telegram bot alert can convert into immediate execution. The scan-to-trade loop works wherever DeFade's users already are.
As Flash API expands its advanced order suite (DCA, Limit, Stop Loss, Take Profit, TWAP), DeFade's users will inherit those capabilities automatically. A user who scans a token and confirms it's safe could set a limit order to buy at a target price, or a stop loss to protect their downside, all within the same product that helped them to vet the token.
Definitive's mission is to bring professional-grade execution to DeFi, and Flash API is how that capability scales beyond Definitive's own trading terminal. DeFade is a proof point for what becomes possible when a specialized team pairs deep onchain risk intelligence with an execution engine that's already been audited, battle-tested, and optimized.
