Skopos launched advanced orders for Robinhood Chain with Flash
“Flash unlocked the execution layer we needed without compromising our non-custodial design. Our users can now place advanced orders, limit, stop-loss, TWAP, DCA, on Robinhood Chain and beyond, without ever handing over their keys. Next we’re expanding into full agentic trading, where AI agents can research, execute, and manage positions autonomously, all non-custodially.”
— Anu, Founder, Skopos

Highlights

  • Skopos, a non-custodial crypto copilot offering a unified chat interface for trading, bridging, researching, and asset management across 25+ chains, brought Definitive’s Flash API online within one calendar day.
  • Non-custodial by design, even for advanced orders. Flash was the only API Skopos evaluated that supported conditional orders non-custodially, matching Skopos’s brand promise: “you sign, we never touch your funds.”
  • Live on Robinhood Chain, day one. Flash was the only non-custodial API covering Robinhood Chain with advanced orders the week the chain launched, when Skopos’s existing swap provider didn’t support it at all.
  • Five order types, one integration. Limit, stop-loss, take-profit, TWAP, and DCA, plus tokenized stock execution (NVDA, AAPL, SPY onchain).
  • Engineering stayed on intelligence, not infrastructure. Smart money tracking, market regime reads, token risk scanning, sniper detection, and an agent-payable x402 API.

What is Skopos?

Skopos is a non-custodial crypto copilot that provides a unified chat interface for trading, bridging, researching, and asset management across more than 25 chains using natural language. It solves the complexity of cross-chain interactions by letting users execute intents, like purchasing ETH over time or setting stop-losses, simply by typing. Skopos serves retail investors, DeFi experts, and AI agents that need a machine-payable layer, with users maintaining full control of their funds and keys throughout the entire process.

But a chat interface that understands “buy ETH over time” is only half the promise. The other half is executing that intent without ever asking the user to give up their keys, on whichever of 25+ chains they happen to be trading on.

The challenge: advanced orders, non-custodially, on the newly launched Robinhood Chain

Advanced order types, limit orders, stop-loss, take-profit, TWAP, and DCA, would have taken months to build natively. Each requires its own offchain state, monitoring, and execution logic, multiplied across every chain Skopos supports.

Robinhood Chain execution specifically was completely blocked without Flash. Skopos’s existing swap provider, Delora, didn’t support it, and Skopos was already building for Robinhood Chain the week it launched. Tokenized stock execution, NVDA, AAPL, and SPY onchain, added a third requirement: Flash’s RWA support, which most execution APIs simply don’t offer.

Underneath all of it sat a harder constraint than any single feature: whatever provider Skopos chose had to be non-custodial for conditional orders too, not just for simple swaps. Every other provider the team evaluated either required custody outright or couldn’t support conditional orders without it.

The solution: Definitive’s Flash API as Skopos’s non-custodial execution layer

Definitive is the leading onchain trading platform for pro-traders and institutions, built by Coinbase Prime and Tagomi alumni. Flash API exposes that execution engine, including its non-custodial architecture, plus Robinhood Chain and RWA support, to builders like Skopos.

Non-custodial, matched to the architecture, not bolted onto it

Flash returns EIP-712 signed payloads that the user signs themselves. Every other provider Skopos evaluated either required custody or didn’t support conditional orders non-custodially. Skopos’s entire brand is “you sign, we never touch your funds,” and Flash was the only API that met that promise rather than requiring Skopos to compromise on it for advanced order types.

Live on Robinhood Chain the week it launched

Skopos was building for Robinhood Chain the week it launched, and Flash was already there, the only non-custodial API covering the chain with advanced orders on day one. Flash’s RWA support covered the second half of that requirement: tokenized stock execution for assets like NVDA, AAPL, and SPY onchain.

Trades explained to users in plain English before approval signature

A user types a trade intent in plain English. Skopos classifies it, resolves tokens, calls Flash’s /quote endpoint, and returns a preview card showing amounts, fees, and trigger conditions. For conditional orders, users are shown in plain English how the trade will work (e.g.“Will execute when ETH drops to $1,800”) before the user signs anything. The user clicks Sign, approves an ERC-20 spending cap if needed, and signs the EIP-712 order payload. Flash manages execution, MEV protection, gas, and retries from there, and Skopos shows a confirmation with the Flash order ID. The flow works across Skopos’s web app, iMessage, Telegram, Claude and Cursor via MCP, and as a paid x402 API that other AI agents can call directly.

Engineering time can be directed to the intelligence layer, not order management

With Flash handling execution, Skopos’s team spends its time on smart money tracking, market regime reads, token risk scanning, sniper detection, and the agent-payable API, the features that make execution decisions trustworthy in the first place. As the team put it, they didn’t spend six months building order management; they spent it on the features that differentiate Skopos from any other trading interface.

What this unlocks

The impact that matters most right now is speed and scope: a non-custodial execution layer covering five order types, tokenized equities, and a brand-new chain, built and shipped in five days, freeing the team to spend its time on the intelligence layer instead.

It’s early for volume numbers, but what’s already true: the integration is live on tryskopos.xyz across 8 chains (Robinhood Chain plus 7 EVM chains), covering market swaps, tokenized stocks, and the full advanced-order suite.

Built to power the next era of trading

Skopos’s roadmap points toward full agentic trading: AI agents that research, execute, and manage positions autonomously, all non-custodially. That’s a natural extension of what’s already live, Skopos’s x402 API already lets other AI agents call it directly, and Flash’s non-custodial architecture means autonomous execution doesn’t require handing an agent custody of user funds.

Definitive’s mission is to bring professional-grade execution to every builder, whether human or agentic, and Flash API is how that capability scales beyond Definitive’s own trading terminal. Skopos is realizing Flash’s benefits go beyond other providers: an execution layer that holds a hard non-custodial line (even for conditional orders), and that’s fast enough to be live on a brand-new chain the week it launches.
